you know that part in the middle of the last movement of beethoven's ninth symphony where, after 4.5 movements of strife and dissonance, the choir comes full in with the "ode to joy" theme and the piece resolves into a joyous, celebratory, grand chorale?
at that exact moment, the sun shone out for the 1st time in a week and filled my office with glorious light!
totally made my day. :)

Hmm...January blues never really occured to me before. Ha! I think it's lovely walking weather, so Kairis and I are trying to get out in the mornings together. (I think we've succeeded one time so far...) See you tomorrow! Good luck with the book...I'll be reading aloud to Tim tonight as he's lost his voice. :(
oh, poor tim! hope he gets it back soon. :(
maybe he will, but then again, if we don't finish the book tonight, I guess our "voice" won't matter! haha! :)
I've never really had January Blues. My birthday comes at the end of the month, so I always have one more exciting thing to look forward to!
Yes, I am glad though for the sunshine...anytime!
ooh, that's cool! what day is your birthday?
